Again, I agree with you. I was just using Gotenks as an example.

I know I'm going to get a lot of hate for this, and a lot of "Why Saber?" for it, but I think the Manga needs to be redone, through artwork and dialogue. Despite what I said in the other Thread about approved by AT or not, Note that I never disagreed with the Viz's faults, because I agree they're there, and I feel and redoing the Manga would present the opportunity to fix all the problems and make the Boo arc a more coherent arc, that people can make more sense out of.

I think it started off very dark in the Babidi saga with Spopovitch vs Videl, Piccolo getting too scared to fight and Gohan's energy getting drained. There was also the big build up to Buu and the Z Fighters arriving at the spaceship to see some human corpses near by and then the killing of Spopovitch and Yamu which was pretty brutal. And also Dabura being able to sense they were there and killing Kibito and turning Krillin and Piccolo to stone was intense stuff.

The whole Majin Vegeta thing was very dark with Vegeta returning to his old ways. And then his final atonement of course.

A lot of the time with Fat Buu things seemed to turn into dark comedy. I don't think it was until the gunmen started killing people and ended up creating Evil Buu that things got truly dark again. Evil Buu was creepy as hell only to be matched in creepiness by Super Buu. The part were he killed that gunman was brutal and he was really scary as hell until he started acting dumb during his battle with Gotenks. After that things seemed to get pretty light toned again apart from the whole end of earth thing.
"The future of Gohan. The Future of Chi Chi. Not to mention the future of the entire universe. It all depends on me!!!! And I don't care if you're a million times stronger than me! I'm not going to let them down! So get ready Frieza because this time you're going Down!!!"

Dont blame him , Blame Gotenks

I think Super Buu killing off Hercule would have been a significant increase in his character .

The Buu Saga is the one most often debated and riddled with inconsistencies. Plus it has plenty of contradictory filler, which also makes it suck.

I think Buu Arc was the best saga of DBZ. Best Actions, fights, animations, characters life, comedy and plenty more.
